This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms under which cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled for bookings made through Saklani Safari for hotels, tour packages, and safari experiences around Jim Corbett National Park.

By confirming a booking through our website or representatives, you agree to the following cancellation and refund conditions.

1. Cancellation Policy for Hotels & Tour Packages

Cancellation charges depend on how many days before the scheduled check-in date the booking is cancelled.

More than 30 days before check-in

  • 75% of the advance amount will be refunded, or

  • The amount can be adjusted toward a future booking.

15 to 30 days before check-in

  • 25% of the booking amount will be refunded, or

  • The remaining amount may be adjusted for a future reservation.

7 to 15 days before check-in

  • No refund will be provided.

  • However, the amount may be adjusted against a future booking subject to availability.

Less than 7 days before check-in

  • No refund will be issued.

  • The entire booking amount will be retained as cancellation charges.

2. Peak Season Cancellation Rules

During peak travel periods such as:

  • Holi

  • Diwali

  • Christmas

  • New Year

  • Long weekends or public holidays

Hotels and resorts may apply separate cancellation policies. These policies depend on the individual property and may differ from the standard policy mentioned above.

Guests are advised to confirm cancellation terms with our team at the time of booking during such periods.

3. Refund Processing Policy

If a booking is eligible for a refund, the processing time depends on the payment method used.

Payments through Payment Gateway / Credit or Debit Card

  • Refunds may take 10–15 working days to reflect in your account.

Payments through Bank Transfer or UPI (Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe, etc.)

  • Refunds are usually processed within 3 working days after confirmation.

Refunds may be issued through:

  • Bank transfer

  • UPI transfer

  • Credit card reversal (if originally paid through card)

To process a refund, guests may be asked to provide their bank details or preferred payment method.

4. Safari Booking Cancellation Policy

Safari permits issued by the forest department are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.

Jeep Safari

  • Once a Jeep Safari booking is confirmed, the amount cannot be refunded.

  • The safari date and time cannot be changed or rescheduled.

Canter Safari

  • Canter Safari bookings are also non-refundable and non-transferable after confirmation.

  • Rescheduling is not permitted once the permit is issued.

Elephant Safari

  • Elephant Safari bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Once confirmed, the schedule cannot be modified.

Safari operations are managed under the authority of Corbett Tiger Reserve, and the permit rules set by the forest department apply to all safari bookings.

5. Important Note

All cancellations must be communicated to our team through official contact channels or email. The cancellation request date will be considered based on when we receive the written request.
