These Terms & Conditions govern all services offered by Saklani Safari including hotel bookings, jungle safaris, and tour packages around Jim Corbett National Park. By making a booking through our website or representatives, you agree to follow the terms mentioned below.
1. Hotel & Resort Booking Policy
Reservation
Bookings can be made online through our website or through our booking team depending on room availability. A reservation is confirmed only after the required advance payment has been received.
Room Availability
In rare cases where the selected hotel or resort becomes unavailable after booking, we will arrange accommodation in a similar category property or provide a refund of the booking amount.
Room Categories
Rates mentioned on the website generally apply to standard or base category rooms. If a guest chooses a higher room category such as premium, luxury, or cottage, additional charges may apply.
Check-In / Check-Out
Check-In Time: 01:00 PM onwards
Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible only if the property allows it and may involve extra charges.
Seasonal Pricing
Hotel prices may change during:

Public holidays
Long weekends
Christmas and New Year
Guests are advised to confirm final prices with our team before booking during these periods.
Peak Travel Season
The months between April and June are considered peak travel season in the Corbett region. Resorts may increase their room tariffs during this period.
Meals
Meal plans selected at the time of booking cannot be modified later. If a guest misses a meal included in the package due to personal schedule, safari timing, or late arrival, the unused meal will not be refunded.
Special Event Charges
Many resorts organize compulsory gala dinners on occasions such as Christmas, New Year, or major festivals. If applicable, these charges must be paid directly to the hotel if not included in the package.
Resort Rules
Guests are expected to follow the property rules of the resort. Any damage to hotel property caused by the guest will be chargeable. Use of facilities such as swimming pools, games, or recreational activities is governed by the hotel’s policies.
Pets
Some resorts allow pets, while others do not. If pets are permitted, additional charges and specific guidelines may apply.
GST Invoice
If a guest requires a GST invoice, the request must be made at the time of booking or before arrival.
2. Child & Extra Guest Policy
Children below 5 years can stay free with parents without an extra bed.
Children between 6 and 12 years may be charged a percentage of the package price depending on the property policy.
An extra adult sharing the same room will be charged an additional fee as per package terms.
3. Tour Package Policy
Tour packages are generally designed for groups and may require a minimum number of guests or rooms for confirmation.
Packages can be customized based on:
Travel dates
Number of guests
Room category
Hotel availability
Rates mentioned on the website are based on base category rooms. If these rooms are not available, higher category rooms may be offered at revised prices.
4. Jungle Safari Booking Terms
Safari services are arranged for visitors who wish to explore the wildlife of Jim Corbett National Park.
Safari Disclaimer
Saklani Safari acts only as a booking facilitator for safari permits and vehicles. Safari operations are controlled by the forest authorities of Corbett Tiger Reserve.
Wildlife Sightings
Wildlife sightings, including tiger sightings, depend entirely on natural conditions. No operator can guarantee sightings inside the forest.
Safari Confirmation
Safari bookings are confirmed only after advance payment and successful permit processing.
ID Requirement
All visitors must carry original government-issued identification at the time of safari entry. Entry may be denied without valid ID proof.
Guide & Vehicle
A certified guide assigned by the forest department accompanies every safari. The guide fee may be included in the package or paid separately at the entry gate.
Safari Changes
Once the safari permit is issued:
The date or timing generally cannot be changed.
Guest names cannot be modified.
Refund Policy
Safari permits issued by the forest department are non-refundable once confirmed.
Safety Rules
Guests must follow all instructions given by the guide and driver, maintain silence inside the forest, and keep a safe distance from wildlife.
5. Monsoon Travel Advisory
During the rainy season (approximately June to November), certain safari zones may remain closed or bookings may be cancelled depending on weather conditions and forest department decisions.
6. Liability Disclaimer
Saklani Safari provides assistance with travel arrangements such as hotel bookings, safari permits, and tour planning. We are not responsible for:
Delays caused by weather or government restrictions
Accidents or unforeseen incidents during travel
Loss of personal belongings
Behavior or services of third-party providers such as drivers, guides, or hotels
7. Booking Confirmation Policy
To confirm any hotel or safari booking, a minimum advance payment is required. The balance payment must be cleared before arrival or as agreed with our booking team.
Reservations may be cancelled if the required payment is not received within the specified time.
8. Legal Jurisdiction
All disputes related to services or bookings made through saklanisafari.com will fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Ramnagar and Nainital, Uttarakhand, India.
